Additional Travel Information
Here are a few flight options from Los Angeles:
- American red eye flight direct from LA to San
Juan (most nights, if not every); from San
Juan you then switch to Caribbean Sun for
an afternoon flight to St Vincent to take a
ferry across to Bequia (approximately 1
hour). I like this option, as the ferry ride
provides a unique passage in your arrival
sequence. The same trip back has you on an
early morning ferry for an 8:50am +/-
Caribbean Sun flight back to San Juan then
the flight back to LA arrives the same
evening.
- Although I have not done this, Air Jamaica
flies direct from LA to Jamaica then onto
Barbados or St Lucia. You would then book
with LIAT or SVG air to fly to Bequia. I do not
know time schedules for this option.
- American red eye from LA to Miami, then
American from Miami to Barbados, switch to
SVG air to fly direct to Bequia.
If you want to break the flights up, you could always
overnight in Miami, San Juan, St Lucia or Barbados.
